Meet People & Access Services in Milton Keynes

Meet People & Access Services in Milton Keynes

Friends Having Coffee at Unity Park Station, Milton Keynes

The Mix is a drop-in service supporting emotional health and mental well-being.

We encourage people to form new friendships and access support services.

No appointment is necessary and everyone is welcome.

We meet every Monday between 2.00 and 4.30 at Unity Park Station (the old bus station) MK9 1LR.

The Mix is a community group offering practical and emotional support to adults. We provide a safe, informal and welcoming environment.

Many visitors regain their confidence and self-esteem by attending sessions and enjoy getting involved in the range of activities available such as arts and crafts, games, playing pool and table football. We also serve cakes, biscuits, hot and cold drinks.

‘’I feel isolated because of my depression. Coming to The Mix every week has given me the chance to socialise again and improved my mental health and confidence.’’

As well as meeting others, you are able to access support from Citizens Advice, Samaritans and the MK Council Mental Health and Autism Social Care Team

No appointments or referrals are required. Just come to the session in and speak to one of our volunteers who do their best to help!

Why People Come To the Mix

Why People Attend The Mix

In April 2018 we presented 33 attendees with a series of statements and asked them which four were most applicable to their experience with us.
