We are looking for dedicated, friendly people who are willing to give up their time to assist with the facilitation of the sessions.
Specifically, we need people who:

Enjoy getting involved in the range of activities available such as arts and crafts, games, playing pool or table football

Offer a listening ear to service users that may want to have a chat, should the service user need advice or guidance on any issues they are facing and direct the attendee to the professionals present

Prepare the venue ready for people who are attending

Welcome those attending

Serve refreshments
What time commitment do I need to give?
The Mix is hosted every Monday 1.30 – 4 pm at Unity Park Station, Milton Keynes and every Thursday 1.30 – 4 pm at Crosslinks, Water Eaton in Bletchley.
We are looking for volunteers who can assist in volunteering at either of both of these sessions and/or be available to assist with opening and closing up.
What are we looking for in a volunteer?

Commit to assisting with at least 2 sessions every month

Be willing to offer a listening ear
What support will I be offered?
You will have induction training, to ensure you’re comfortable with the environment and the duties involved. Support and mentoring will be provided.
Expenses
Volunteers are entitled to the reimbursement of expenses they may have to pay as a result of your volunteering activities. Examples of costs might include travel costs from your home to where you do your voluntary work.
