There were two bank holiday Mondays this month which left us with only three sessions- 8th, 15th and 22nd.
Numbers have been a little down this month- in the 50’s possibly due to the closure of the bus terminal and buses being rerouted. Thank-you to all those who have made it to the sessions despite this and lets hope that the roads and routes will be back to normal very soon.
Paulina has conducted the drama at all three sessions this month and those who attend feedback that it is really good fun. Drama can be a bit daunting but Paulina’s style and skills as an actress mean it is informal and enjoyable . It is an open session – all welcome, no experience necessary!
In the heart of the drop in every week, the Art table continues to be busy with both regulars and new people.
The pool table is now in popular demand and table tennis is now being played in a previously unused large space to the left of the drop-in. This is also attracting regular players.
The CAB workers are now a core service at the Mix and are busy offering advice and case work support with people using the mental health services
The atmosphere in the sessions continues to be friendly and relaxed with a steady stream of new faces being given a warm welcome.
Here comes the Summer!
