Numbers down to 63 today- sorry again for the cold venue. More new faces today so the news must be spreading which is great.

It is a pleasure to host workers and service users from the local inpatient unit, the Campbell Centre and also from the local rehabilitation unit, Cherrywood. When people are in need of more intensive support it is important for them to feel welcome in the community.
Being a ‘patient’ can be a very disorientating experience and can leave people feeling loss of identity. Being a mental health patient is arguably more problematic due to the stigma associated with this area of health.
The Mix is run jointly by service users and service providers and we hope that people feel welcome despite being unwell if they are able to cope with being at the session.
More new faces today- hope the cold won’t put them off?
It’s the Annual General Meeting next week at 11am before the session- all welcome. We will be discussing the heating!
