It was a busy session this week with 52 people attending in all including four new faces. The atmosphere was busy but relaxed with lots of chatter and laughter. The new people were given a warm welcome and will hopefully come again.
There were several staff members from the Recovery and Rehabilitation Team at the Mix today, a couple of people from Healthwatch and a member of staff from Rethink who very helpfully took someone to the Neighborhood Employment service (located in Norfolk House next to the YMCA). They offer advice and support to people with disabilities looking for training and employment and this person was keen to look at getting an apprenticeship.
The cakes were fab as usual- Thanks Sarah
More games were played this week with Stu proving himself an able rummy player. Stu also demonstrated an impressive card trick today- our very own Dynamo! Think he's been rumbled as a one trick pony- time will tell.
The Art session had relatively small numbers this week but those who did attend enjoyed the usual creative social.
Look forward to seeing everyone next week when the local CAB will be getting involved to solve all our problems ( if only!)
