CAB advisers and assessors can help you resolve problems. They explain options and possible outcomes of different courses of action. They provide free, confidential, impartial and independent advice, information and practical assistance at their offices in Acorn House as well as during the weekly drop-in at The Mix.


If you’re struggling with alcohol or drug use, you can turn to the supportive, compassionate and experienced team at Compass Milton Keynes to help get your life back in order.  

Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust

CNWL stands for Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. However, we stand for more than our name; we put quality at the centre of all we do. We're also proud to be part of the NHS and everything the NHS stands for.


Healthwatch Milton Keynes is a statutory body with the remit to be the independent consumer champion for people using health and social care services in Milton Keynes, including children and young people.


Mind provide short-term counselling service for a wide range of issues including life crisis, loss, anger, self-esteem and identity, relationships, depression, trauma, anxiety and more.

MK Council advice can help you resolve your housing situation. Find information about council housing and how it is allocated, ways to pay your rent, how to request a repair, or how residents can get involved.

Open Door

Open Door support the homeless people and 'vulnerably housed' to support them into accommodation and society. Open Door hold 2 weekly drop-ins where people can eat, access advice and support services on housing, health, mental health and drug and alcohol support. 


POhWER delivers information, advice, support and advocacy services throughout England. We aim to support people who face difficult issues and want to make their voice heard. They advocate on behalf of individuals who are vulnerable, disabled or in need. All POhWER's services are free, independent and confidential.


Rethink is a Community Support service which helps people with mental health problems such as depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, to achieve a better quality of life.

Richmond Fellowship

The Richmond Fellowship makes recovery reality for thousands of people living with mental health problems every year. At Milton Keynes Oldbrook they provide supported housing for adults who need support with daily living and social skills as the result of long term mental health problems.

YMCA Milton Keynes

The YMCA is a supportive community which exists to inspire and equip young people to achieve their potential. They provide supported housing for vulnerable and homeless young people which includes emergency accommodation for those aged 16-35 and longer term accommodation for people aged 18-35.


The CAMPAIGN AGAINST LIVING MISERABLY is a registered charity which exists to prevent male suicide in the UK. In 2014, male suicide accounts for 76% of all suicides and is the single biggest cause of death in men under 45 in the UK. 

MK Health Resource 

Milton Keynes Mental Health Resources aims to provide links to websites that may be useful for adults in Milton Keynes who have concerns about mental health or who are experiencing mental health difficulties. 

MK Dons 

The MK Dons support local community gorups, like The Mix, by providing in-kind donations (but no monetary contributions or sponsorships) to a wide variety of charities, non-profit agencies, community organisations, youth sporting groups and schools.
